Caroline Streatfeild
Caroline Streatfeild has been a member of the St Anne’s congregation since coming to live in Kew thirty-five years ago. She was Churchwarden for five years leading up to the church’s tercentenary in 2014 and has served on the PCC three times. She is currently part of the team assisting at services.
Her professional career has involved working in Human Resources in the commercial service sector, including the hotel industry, banking and recruitment.
She has also enjoyed work as a volunteer with several charities. She served on the committee of a children’s home in Singapore, assisted at classes for Riding for the Disabled and, on a local committee, helped to organise fund-raising events for specific CRUK research projects.
Her love of English literature drew her into studies as a mature student at London University where she completed undergraduate and masters degrees.
She enjoys working in her own garden and draws inspiration from nearby Kew Gardens. As a founder trustee of Kew Theology and Gardening she is keen to promote the spiritual, social and health benefits of gardening through education while supporting the church’s commitment to engage further with the ecological crisis.
